The NFL has given Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant the green light for a comeback after a long suspension, according to NFL Insider Tom Pelissero.
Bryant’s history with substance abuse issues led to multiple suspensions, with the most recent one handing him an indefinite suspension back in 2020.
Veteran WR Martavis Bryant, who last played in the NFL in 2018, has been reinstated by Commissioner Roger Goodell and is drawing interest from teams, per his agent James Peterson.

He’s been out of the NFL since 2018, but in the meantime, spent time in the CFL in 2021 and even had a stint in the XFL last season.
Remember, this guy was a touchdown machine with 17 scores in just four seasons before he was kicked out of the league. He’s 6’4 and has 4.42 wheels.
Teams apparently expressed interest in possibly signing him. He was originally a fourth-round pick by the Steelers in the 2014 Draft, and during his NFL career, he caught 145 passes for 2,183 yards in addition to those 17 touchdowns.

Bryant has been one of the best pure athletic talent at the position during his time in the NFL. He’s now 31-years old, have to wonder how much he has left.
