The media is still being weird about how to cover Caitlin Clark.
A few weeks ago, Clark was involved in an incredibly awkward exchange with veteran sports reporter Gregg Doyell after he appeared to make an inappropriate comment during her introductory press conference.
On Friday, Clark made her WNBA debut successfully by scoring 21 points in her first preseason game.

Before her debut, one media member decided to ask Clark if her “bae” was going to be at the game, referring to Clark’s boyfriend.
Reporter: “Is bae gonna be here?”
Caitlin Clark: “Huh, no. He’s working… I’m playing solo. I better get used to it, man.”
