The Bills-Dolphins game on Sunday turned out to be arguably the most exciting game of the 1 PM slate which viewers didn’t see coming after the first quarter ended 3-3 and the game appeared to be a bit of a snoozefest. But the Bills and Dolphins’ offenses got hot as the game went on while Josh Allen and Tua Tagovailoa each threw for over 230 yards.
Going into the final play of the game, bettors who backed Tua Tagovailoa in this second game after returning from a concussion were feeling pretty good. His over/under in passing yards (at most books, according to Larry Brown Sports) was set at 243.5 yards and Tua had 254 passing yards with just 5 seconds left on the clock, 5 seconds where Tua would presumably throw a hail mary.

And here is what happened next, sending Tua Tagovailoa ‘over’ bettors into a rage… 5 seconds left and Jaylen Waddle inexplicably ran the ball back for negative 24 yards while trying to lateral the pigskin, costing Tua 24 yards off his total yards through the air:

Jaylen Waddle has been silent across Instagram and X since the final play that cost Tua Tagovailoa those yards and anyone expecting him to address it should not hold their breath.
For anyone keeping track at home, the kickers were the smart play in this game… Tyler Bass was 3-of-3 and Jason Sanders was 2-of-2. I’ve been all-in on kicker bets this season, specifically o1.5 FGs and this game was perfect for me…By the way, this IS NOT ADVICE, I’m just telling you guys this silly strategy that I’ve been enjoying so far this season.
