Don’t expect Dwight Howard to step into the boxing ring against Shaq anytime soon. Two weeks ago, during the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight, Howard took to Twitter and implied that he and Shaq could make some money in the boxing ring.

Shaq, who has held a grudge against Howard throughout the years, didn’t seem happy about Dwight’s tweet.
Gotta have more than one ring to get in the ring with me, I’ll stick with a real champion like @RobGronkowski, and you can have the Superman belt, all yours buddy,

We recently sat down with Howard at the Celsius Padel Classic, where he competed in a celebrity charity Padel tournament during Art Basel in Miami, and Howard wanted to clarify that he wasn’t serious about boxing Shaq.
“It was just some jokes, after seeing the Mike Tyson fight. I’m not trying to get in no ring with nobody. I take it too serious, so I’m not going to get in there for fun. If I get in the ring, I’m going to treat it like a real boxing match.”
As for the Paul/Tyson fight, Howard went on to praise Paul for inspiring kids to follow their dreams.
“I’m happy for Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. They made history on Netflix. 198 countries around the world what more can you ask for.. Proud of Jake and everything that he’s done. Doing it big showing these kids that anything is possible.”

Maybe Padel is in Howard’s future now that he says he’s not interested in boxing.
