Close to 65,000 people were in attendance to watch Paris Saint-Germain take on Inter Milan in last week’s Champions League final. Most of them had to shell out a fair amount of dough to get into the game, but that wasn’t the case with two guys from Belgium who spent more than a day camping out in a bathroom to watch it for free.
Stadiums and arenas would obviously like you to believe they have a strict set of security protocols in place to maintain order and keep everyone at a sporting event safe, but there are usually more than a few ways to skirt those measures if you’re creative enough.
Last year, a guy who spent $3,400 on a mascot costume was able to infiltrate a Euros match at Allianz Arena in Munich, and that venue was the site of another ruse in 2025 courtesy of two guys who only needed a couple of hi-vis vests to make their way into the Champions League final that unfolded there on Saturday.
According to the BBC, Neal Remmerie and Senne Haverbeke made the trek from their native Belgium to Germany ahead of Saturday’s showdown between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan—a lopsided affair where the former coasted to a 5-0 victory and earned the right to hoist the European Champion Clubs’ Cup.
The duo made their way to the stadium on Friday and managed to gain access before heading into a bathroom where they taped “Out of Order” signs in the stalls they posted up in for a grand total of 27 hours before making their way back out after fans began to arrive for the game.
They almost hit a snag when an usher asked to see their tickets as they were trying to make their way to some seats, but they were able to overcome the hurdle and watched the entirety of the game without any further issues.

Remmerie chatted with the Belgian outlet VRT News after the video chronicling the escapade went viral on TikTok and addressed the lengthy wait they had to endure, saying:
“We had a backpack with snacks and we played around on our phones to kill time.
“The lights were on all the time and the sitting position was uncomfortable, so sleeping was almost impossible. That made it physically and mentally difficult.”
However, he also described the game as “the most beautiful football match we have ever seen,” so it sounds like it was worth it.
