Alabama High School Calls On God To Mock ‘Evil’ Football Coach After Decades Of WILD Scandals

Rush Propst Coosa Christian

Rush Propst is the most infamous coach in high school football history. His opponent on Friday night even went so far as to call him “evil.”

It was a savage troll that ultimately proved not to matter in terms of the final score.

Susan Moore High School lost to Coosa Christian in blowout fashion. Propst’s bid for yet another high school football championship in the state of Alabama remains in tact.

Who is Rush Propst?

That’s a loaded question. You likely know Rush Propst from his role on the MTV reality series ‘Two-A-Days’ in the early 2000s.

He was absolutely ruthless toward his players but he won five state championships in six years.

Hoover chose to part ways with its head football coach in 2007 for altering the grades of his players so they would be eligible to compete. And then it got super messy.

Propst was married to his high school sweetheart at the time. They had three children together.

Meanwhile, he was having an affair with the school administrator who helped to change his players’ grades. He was also having another affair with a completely different teacher at the same school at the same time. If that was not wild enough, Propst kept a secret second family in another part of the state.

That was almost two decades ago. His story does not stop there.

Scandal after scandal after scandal..

Colquitt County hired Rush Propst the year after he was fired by Hoover. He was later suspended in 2016 for headbutting one of his own players during the Georgia state playoff— without a helmet.

The Packers won a state championship with Propst as head coach in 2015. He was fired for years later.

A lengthy investigation found that he was likely dispensing undisclosed “pills” to his players, which became a recurring issue. He also failed to show up to 21 half or whole days of work without notifying his boss.

To make matters even worse, Propst owned nearly $450,000 in state and federal taxes. Outside reports claimed his failed payments dated back to 2010.

Rush Propst made his return to the sideline and to reality television as the head coach at Valdosta High School in Georgia in 2020. The Wildcats were featured on the Netflix series ‘Titletown High’

It did not take long for more trouble to arise. Propst was cited for a “lack of institutional control” because he played multiple ineligible transfers and for his role in a crazy saga involving a one-armed booster named ‘Nub.’

Valdosta was found guilty of multiple violations and fined more than $7,500, which was the largest total in state history. It was also banned from the playoffs and required to forfeit multiple games.

Propst was fired after just one season.

Coosa Christian is not so Christian?

Rush Propst was hired as the associate head coach and athletic director at Coosa Christian High School in Alabama prior to 2023. He left after just three months to become the head football coach at Pell City.

That did not last long either.

The school board called a special meeting to vote on the termination of Propst’s contract less than one month after his hiring. No vote was taken so he did not get fired but he resigned at the start of May.

His brief tenure at Pell City led him back to Coosa Christian as the associate head coach. However, the Conquerors were forced to suspend their head coach prior to the season to avoid a postseason ban.

Mark O’Bryant’s suspension led Prost to be named as the interim head coach. He’s back!

Coosa Christian played at home against Susan Moore on Friday. The visitors brought only one sign with them to hang on the sideline. It was a direct shot at Propst.

The sign featured one word and three numbers: Psalm 52:3. It is a very poignant bible verse.

“Thou lovest evil more than good; And lying rather than to speak righteousness.”

The Bulldogs used the word of God to mock the Conquerors for allowing Rush Propst to be involved with the high school football program. It was savage.

However, Coosa Christian beat Susan Moore by a final score of 56-26. Propst wins again.
