WWE legend and former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura has made numerous bold claims about President Donald Trump, including that his assassination attempted was staged with a wrestling procedure known as a “blade job.”
A blade job in wrestling is when a performer intentionally cuts themselves — typically on the forehead — with a small hidden razor blade to produce real blood during a match. The practice is also called “blading” or “juicing.”
At a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024, a 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at a Trump campaign rally from a rooftop near the event perimeter, with a bullet grazing Donald Trump’s right ear, thus producing the iconic image of him raising his fist with blood on his face as Secret Service surrounded him.

“To be fair to Trump, when he got shot, he got back up and said, ‘Fight, fight, fight!’” Morgan said.
“Oh yeah, right, right, right. You ever hear of a blade job?” Ventura replied.
“A blade?” Morgan questioned. “What, you think it was fake?”
Ventura stood his ground by saying, “I don’t know. Where’s his scar today?”
Jesse Ventura is now claiming that President Trump faked his assassination so he could portray himself as a hero to the public.

Ventura also said that Trump is only in the WWE Hall of Fame because he blocked an investigation into Vince McMahon
Ventura also discussed Trump being in the WWE Hall of Fame, and says it only occurred because he blocked a federal sexual assault lawsuit into Vince McMahon.
“Trump being a Hall of Famer is a tragedy, this guy has never been in the ring. I got a good friend, Ken Patera, Olympian, first man to overhead press 500 pounds. 25 years in the wrestling business. Kenny Patera is not in the Hall of Fame. Donald Trump does not belong in the wrestling Hall of Fame. He’s only in the Hall of Fame because he stopped an investigation against Vince McMahon [for] sexual stuff.”
