Hey, folks, have you heard? Cryptocurrency is the future of money. Former NBA star Scottie Pippen has heard the message and is now looking to cash in on it.
In fact, Pippen is such a believer in it that he is having dreams about Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym of the person or people who developed Bitcoin and created the first blockchain database.
No, really.
“I had a dream I met Satoshi Nakamoto last night,” Scott Pippen wrote on X (Twitter) on Tuesday. “He didn’t see me as just another player. Instead, Satoshi was proud that I was opening a new lane for #RWA in the crypto market. Bringing the @Game5Ball to the blockchain lets me pass history to the community, innovate sports, and bring a real-world sports object to decentralization. Satoshi said, ‘If you don’t believe me or don’t get RWA, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry.’ Where there’s Satoshi, there’s room to be the best. Be like Satoshi.”

Where to begin?
First off, “Be like Satoshi” is obviously a direct shot at Michael Jordan and the old “Be like Mike” advertising catchphrase because MJ has set up house rent-free inside Pippen’s head.
Second, Satoshi Nakamoto isn’t a real person, as explained above.
Third, the game ball he is referring to is the ball from Game 5 of the 1991 NBA Finals – the Chicago Bulls’ first title-clinching win in what would be six championships over seven years.
“In Game 5 of the 1991 NBA Finals against the Lakers, I scored 32 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, making history on June 12, 1991. Now, we’re making history again with the @Game5Ball project, launching on August 1st on #Ethereum,” Pippen wrote in another post on X confirming that this is a real thing that he is trying to sell.
Also, the guy who invented Bitcoin came to Scottie Pippen in a dream and told him to invest in Ethereum?
“Meet the ball that changed the game,” the project’s website reads.
The GAME 5 BALL project merges historical significance with cutting-edge technology, driven by a passionate community. With the community’s daily efforts, this project aims to create a lasting legacy in both sports and blockchain worlds. By collecting GAME 5 BALL tokens, you are participating in a community-driven project that merges sports history with blockchain technology. The token will be launched on major blockchain platforms. Game 5 Ball will be a fair launch token release and community-driven.
Disclaimer: The GAME 5 BALL tokens represent a fractional share in the value of the 1991 Game 5 championship ball and not physical ownership of the ball. The physical ball remains in the possession of the custodian. By acquiring GAME 5 BALL tokens, you are participating in a community-driven project that merges sports history with blockchain technology.
If all of that sounds a little bit like a scam, well, you’re not alone in that line of thinking.
Bro stop this garbage. You look worse by the day.

“Please stop scamming your followers and fans. Bad!” another fan wrote.
“This is the epitome of what an outsider thinks would be successful in crypto,” read another comment. “When advised by a bunch of people who have no idea and just float their ego instead of doing any research.”
“Scottie stick to losing money with traditional forms of gambling,” someone else suggested.
“Omg, what in the name of cringe did I just read,” another wrote.
I never thought I could hate you more than when you played basketball.
