Megan Rapinoe appears to have caused quite a stir with her latest suggestion for the upcoming Olympics.
With the 2028 Olympics being in Los Angeles, Rapinoe thought it would be a good idea if Colin Kaepernick played flag football and became the official flag-bearer of Team USA.
“I would love to see Colin be able to represent America in an Olympics. I think that would be an unbelievably special moment,” she said. “He’s my flag-bearer. I think that would be really incredible to have that representation of America also be front and center at an Olympics. That would be really cool.”

It’s highly unlikely that either Rapinoe or Kaepernick will be involved in the 2028 Olympics due to how many people would be against it.
