Mmmmm…. beer. Mmmmm… cheese. Mmmm… beer cheese.
Pabst Blue Ribbon and Yancey’s Fancy just unleashed something that’s about to take your snack game to legendary levels: Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Flavored Cheese.
America’s favorite dive-bar brew has officially teamed up with one of New York’s boldest cheese masters to create cheddar infused with the iconic taste of PBR lager.
Turns out, this isn’t the first time Pabst has dabbled in cheese. The Pabst label experimented with cheddar during Prohibition (true story). Now, nearly a century later, they’ve partnered with Yancey’s Fancy, who has been pumping out wildly flavorful cheeses since 1926.
The result is a tangy, beer-infused cheddar that tastes like hops and nostalgia. Perfect for upgrading everything from grilled cheeses and charcuterie platters to straight-up fridge raids at midnight.

This move comes as Pabst continues its hot streak, recently dropping Pabst Light, its first-ever light beer, nationwide. Hell, I even spotted cases of it stacked high at my local Ralph’s grocery store here in Southern California last night. Clearly, PBR’s on a roll.
Yancey’s spent six months perfecting the recipe to nail that distinct, crisp PBR flavor. As Hunter Cox, PBR’s brand manager, put it: “The combo of beer and cheese is unmatched; this is something people seriously need to try.”
Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Flavored Cheese is hitting supermarket shelves nationwide as we speak, and it’ll soon be available online, too.
Keep an eye out in your grocery store’s cheese section.
