NC State Football Coach’s Daughter Reveals How She Reacts To Negative Comments About Her Dad

Savanah Tujague College Football Coach's Kid Garett Tujague North Carolina State

Savanah Tujague is the daughter of North Carolina State football coach Garett Tujague. As is the case with anyone of status, people are often ruthless toward her father on the internet— especially when things do not go well for the Wolfpack.

She and her siblings have learned to deal with the criticism they encounter online!

Garett Tujague played college football at BYU in the late 80s/early 90s and earned All-American honors as an offensive lineman. He began his coaching career at Chabot College in 1993 and climbed his way up the ladder with stops at the University of Redlands and College of the Canyons. His alma mater gave him his first opportunity on the FBS level in 2013. He later spent seven years at Virginia. This will be the 33-year coaching veteran’s third year leading the offensive line and run game in Raleigh.

Tujague has three children: Savanah, Summer and Carson. Carson currently plays for Utah State after one season at BYU. Summer serves as the assistant to Bronco Mendenhall.

Although Savanah bucks the family trend and works in the corporate world, she is a certified ball-knower with more than 7,000 followers on X. Her voice in the college football space continues to grow by the day.

One of the questions Savanah is most often asked relates to negativity on the internet. How does she and her siblings handle all of the criticism and commentary about their father? The answer varies on a case-by-case basis.

First and foremost, Savanah chooses not to provide the time of day to people who know nothing about the sport or her father’s in the sport. But sometimes she can’t help herself. In that instance, she likes to type up her reply to release the thoughts from her brain but does not hit post.

The most important thing Savanah often reminds herself is this: “You can never explain something to someone who doesn’t want to understand.” Haters are entitled to say whatever they want to say, but they are typically just looking to argue for sake of arguing. Those people don’t matter.

When push comes to shove, Savanah Tujague subscribes to the theory that lions don’t concern themselves with the opinions of sheep. She and her siblings, by nature of Garett Tujague’s role with North Carolina State, are the lions. Their father’s haters are the sheep.
