Austrian Soccer Team Unveils Brand-New Jerseys With So Many Sponsors You Need An Ad Blocker

TSV Hartberg Soccer Uniform Kit Jersey Ads Sponsor

TSV Hartberg has the most sponsored uniforms in soccer. That statement applies to any level of competition in any country.

The Austrian club’s new kits are so packed with advertisements that it will actually hurt your brain.

I am not entirely sure as to how these soccer kits came to exist but I am certain that it stems from financial greed. More sponsors means more money, which should in turn lead to more success.

What is TSV Hartberg?

TSV Hartberg is a professional soccer club based in the Austrian state of Styria. Founded in 1946, it was finally promoted to the highest level of the Austrian football league system in 2018.

Although Hartberg placed eighth out of 12 teams in the Bundesliga last season, it secured a solid mid-table position, stayed well clear of the drop zone and safely avoided relegation. The club has established itself as a consistent presence in the top flight over the last seven years.

Finances might have something has a lot to do with the recent success.

Sell, sell, sell!

There is no limit to the amount of advertisements allowed on a uniform in the Austrian Bundesliga. The entire jersey could be covered in brand sponsorship patches if that is what the club decides to do.

Therefore, it is not uncommon to see multiple ads on a single jersey. That is fairly standard in soccer.

TSV Hartberg takes it to another level.

The club has always worn a lot of sponsors on its uniform. For example, here was its home kit from 2017:

TSV Hartberg Soccer Jersey

I count 13 ads in total on the above uniform. That number has since increased to at least 18.

The 2025-26 kits are the most sponsored kits of all-time.

TSV Hartberg recently unveiled its new uniforms for the upcoming season. Not only are the jerseys sponsored, as are the shorts. I have never seen anything like it.

There are so many ads that it is hard to keep track. I think I can identify:

  • Three ads on each shoulder
  • 14 ads on the front of the jersey
  • Three ads on the right thigh
  • Two ads on the left thigh

Assuming that count is correct, there are 22 ads in total from top to bottom. At least.

I cannot imagine the existence of a more sponsored uniform in soccer but perhaps I am wrong. If there is a club out there with more than 22 ads on its uniform please let me know at Grayson@BroBible.com!
