Sydney Sweeney is reportedly launching a lingerie brand that has the financial backing of Jeff Bezos’ money. Sweeney was spotted at Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sanchez in Venice, Italy in late June.
According to reports, 27-year-old A-list actress Sydney Sweeney is launching a lingerie brand with the backing of Ben Schwerin of Coatue, a private equity firm that recently got a $1 billion investment from Bezos.
At this time, it is unclear what the name of Sweeney’s brand is or when it will be officially launching.
Sydney’s lingerie brand is backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at Coatue, a private equity firm. Ben Schwerin is the former head of partnerships at Snap (Snapchat) and has many celeb and tech connections, as stated in the report by Puck.
Coatue recently got a $1 billion boost from Jeff Bezos and Michael Dell, through their Coatue Innovation Fund. So, even though Bezos didn’t give money to Sydney directly, his fund supports the firm that is funding her, as per the reports. [via The Economic Times]
Sweeney has certainly never been shy about using her status as a sex symbol to sell products, as she previously modeled for the brand Frankie’s Bikinis and recently partnered with a soap brand to sell bars of soap apparently infused with her bath water.

Reports also indicate that Sweeney has emerged as a favorite to be the Bond Girl in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming James Bond film, which will be the first 007 movie under the complete control of Bezos’ Amazon MGM Studios, furthering the ties between the two.
Sweeney will next be seen starring in Eden alongside Ana de Armas and Vanessy Kirb, and Americana alongside Paul Walter Hauser and Halsey, with both movies releasing in movie theaters on August 22.
She’ll then be starring alongside Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Skelnar — who she was spotted getting close with at Stagecoach Music Festival earlier this year — in Paul Feig’s adaptation of the bestselling thriller The Housemaid, which hits theaters on December 25.
The actress also has her still-untitled Christy Martin biopic in post-production, meaning that, too, could release this year. Sweeney says she packed on over 30 pounds of muscle to play the iconic female boxer, with much of it going to her chest and glutes.
She’s also attached to Edgar Wright’s Barbarella, a live-action adaptation of the hit anime Gundam, OutRun directed by Michael Bay, I Pretended to Be a Missing Girl, and several other projects.
