Lane Kiffin is the name most commonly discussed in regard to the open head coaching job at Florida. However, his son recently made it clear that he is not going anywhere.
Oklahoma fans did not care to look at the facts of the situation as they trolled Ole Miss and its head coach with the ‘Gator Chomp’ in Norman on Saturday.
This kind of thing is what makes college football the greatest sport in the world. The Sooners tried their best to create a distraction based entirely on chatter in the media and on internet.
Knox Kiffin just got to Oxford.
The youngest child of Lane Kiffin recently moved from Los Angeles to Mississippi over the summer. He made his first start at quarterback for Oxford High School on Friday after he threw the game-winning touchdown pass in overtime last weekend.
The sophomore signal-caller completed 9 of his 16 pass attempts for 186 yards and two touchdowns during a 10-point comeback win over Clinton. His arm talent is legit.

Family is one of many reasons why the 50-year-old head coach is not going to leave for Florida.
In fact, Knox apparently made his own personal stance clear after the game. Another move is not of interest.
“I’m not moving to Gainesville bro,” he was quoted saying.
Of course, Lane could still leave Layla, Landry and Knox in Oxford. Thus, Oklahoma fans made sure to make it a thing as the Rebels took the field at Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium.

Kiffin addressed the Florida job rumors with his team on Friday but the outside noise can still be a distraction.
Oklahoma fans did whatever they could to get in the heads of the Ole Miss players. It was a valiant effort.
