We are now seven weeks into the 2025/26 NFL season and the weekly NFL Starting Quarterback Power Rankings have still been in flux each week which is wild. We have movement at teh top again with a new #1 ranked QB in the Week 7 Quarterback Power Rankings. It shouldn’t take a degree in rocket science to figure out who it is… Though realistically there are a handful of QBs vying for the #1 spot.

It is a lot easier for these quarterbacks to move out of the top 10 than into it. That much is for sure. The top 10 QBs seem to be pretty consistent week over week so far this season but the Week 7 Quarterback Power Rankings certainly reflect some changes in effort this past week.

Week 7 Power Rankings: Ranking All 32 Starting NFL Quarterbacks In The 2025 NFL Season

During the Week 6 NFL Starting Quarterback Power Rankings we learned a lot about the league’s best (and worst) passers and the same was true this week. We have a new worst-ranked QB in the league which you’ll soon see. Now let’s get to the Week 7 Starting NFL Quarterback Power Rankings!

32. Tua Tagovailoa – Miami Dolphins (Prev. 29)

Tua Tagovailoa Miami Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa was at his worst on Sunday and fell to last place in the NFL Quarterback Power Rankings for week 7. He has SIX interceptions in his past two games and just 1 passing TD.

Miami got smoked by Cleveland, losing 31-6 to a team most expected they’d be able to steamroll and that was due in large part to Tua’s performance. 100 passing yards, 3 interceptions, and he took two sacks. If that’s not a last place performance I don’t know what is.

31. Cooper Rush – Baltimore Ravens (Prev. 31)

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Cooper Rush

Baltimore’s Cooper Rush was on bye this week. All signs indicate that he will be back on the bench after the bye with Lamar Jackson expected to return.

If Ravens fans never have to see Cooper Rush again this season they will be overjoyed. Things were BAD without Lamar.

30. Geno Smith – Las Vegas Raiders (Prev. 30)

Raiders QB Geno Smith was benched on Sunday after a horrible performance. He got pulled in the 4th quarter of the 31-0 blowout against Kansas City with Taylor Swift watching.

Geno was 10-of-16 passing for only 67 yards and a fumble. His days might be numbered in Las Vegas if things keep up like this.

29. Tyrod Taylor – New York Jets (Prev. Unranked)

I wish I had something nice to say about Tyrod Taylor’s performance against the Panthers but there really were no bright spots. He was 10-for-22 in passing for just 126 yards.

Taylor had 2 interceptions, 0 touchdowns, took 3 sacks, and only rushed for 11 yards. The Jets got beat 13-6 at home by the Panthers in what is arguably the ugliest game of Week 7.

28. Dillon Gabriel – Cleveland Browns (Prev. 26)

Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel
Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel

On the bright side, Dillon Gabriel picked up a huge win against the Dolphins. But the flip side of that is he really didn’t do much in the game.

Gabriel was 13/18 passing for 116 yards, 0 TDs, and 0 INTs. He took two sacks and had a QBR of 23.2. But he got the win! Browns running back Quinshon Judkins made Dillon’s job easy while rushing for 84 yards and 3 touchdowns. Dillon would take that every week if he could.

27. Spencer Rattler – New Orleans Saints (Prev. 23)

New Orleans Saints starting quarterback Spencer Rattler

Coming in at #27 in the Week 7 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings is Saints QB Spencer Rattler who was all over the place on Sunday. I was inclined to rank him above the next person on this list just because of his effort but the execution simply wasn’t there.

Rattler threw for 233 yards and was 20/32 in passing attempts. He had 2 passing touchdowns, 3 interceptions, took 4 sacks, 1 lost fumble, and has 12 yards on the ground. That’s 4 turnovers from Rattler for those keeping track at home. He had to drop this week. ‘Nuff said.

26. Caleb Williams – Chicago Bears (Prev. 13)

Caleb Williams Chicago Bears
Caleb Williams Chicago Bears

Bears QB Caleb Williams is another starting quarterback that was bailed out by his running backs. He had a pedestrian statline but picked up a solid win.

The Bears beat New Orleans 26-14 at home while Caleb Williams was 15/26 passing for 172 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 1 interception (-2 rushing yards). Luckily for Caleb, D’Andre Swift woke up on the right side of the bed and went OFF against the Saints. But Caleb’s complete and utter lack of production dropped him a lot this week after he made a huge leap last week.

25. Cam Ward – Tennessee Titans (Prev. 25)

Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward stood pat at #25 in the Week 7 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings after a so-so week. He and the Titans got blown out at home, losing 31-13 to the Patriots.

Cam was 25/34 passing for 255 yards, which is respectable. He had 1 passing TD, 1 interception, 1 lost fumble, and took 5 sacks. He HAS to work on his pocket presence and evading pressure. That’s 39 yards lost from sacks alone!

24. Bryce Young – Carolina Panthers (Prev. 22)

Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young
Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young

The Panthers have somehow picked up 4 wins this season after Bryce Young out dueled the Jets, which take from that what you will. He was 15/25 passing for 138 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions.

With the 13-6 win on the road against the Jets, the Panthers moved into second place in the NFC South and have a winning record. Bryce Young deserves his flowers for that. He looked good enough and that’s all that matters.

23. Jayden Daniels – Washington Commanders (Prev. 17)

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels and the Commanders got blown out by the Cowboys on the road, losing 44-22 to Dak and Dem Boyz. He left the game injured and Marcus Mariota came in but things weren’t going particularly great before he left.

Daniels was 12/22 passing for 1 TD and 0 INTs. He had 35 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground though but also a lost fumble. Jayden has since undergone an MRI as the team awaits results.

22. Michael Penix Jr. – Atlanta Falcons (Prev. 18)

Michael Penix Jr.
Michael Penix Jr.

Michael Penix Jr. had a perfectly okay week. He threw for 241 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs, but was just 21/38 passing and desperately needs to work on that accuracy. His QBR of just 29.7 was dismal. Penix also lost a fumble which didn’t help en route to a 20-10 loss on the road to the 49ers.

He did look good last week and the hope is he can continue to improve week over week bu that wasn’t the case from Week 6 to Week 7.

21. C.J. Stroud – Houston Texans (Prev. 15)

Houston Texas quarterback C.J. Stroud
Houston Texas quarterback C.J. Stroud

Coming off a bye week, the NFL world expected C.J. Stroud to look sharp and he was anything but. Stroud was just 23/49 passing. He did have 198 passing yards and 25 rushing yards, 1 passing TD an 1 interception. But he was manhandled by the Seahawks who picked up an easy 27-19 win at home.

Is Stroud the guy for the Texans? Is it too soon to start asking that question? They are 2-4 on the season and 1-3 on the road. When do we start asking the real questions?

20. Jaxson Dart – New York Giants (Prev. 24)

Giants QB Jaxson Dart
Giants QB Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart must’ve felt like he had his heart ripped out after taking a 33-32 loss against the Broncos after leading by 18 points with 6 minutes to go. Things went sideways so fast!

Dart had 3 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, 1 interception, and was 15/33 for 283 passing yards. With only one turnover from Dart to see that lead evaporate into thin air is hopefully a learning moment for the young QB and he can bounce back this week.

19. Joe Flacco – Cincinnati Bengals (Prev. 28)

Joe Flacco with the Cincinnati Bengals

What did they put in Joe Flacco’s coffee this week? He jumps up 9 spots in the Quarterback Power Rankings and looked like one of the best QBs in the league this week.

Flacco had the second-most passing yards in the NFL in Week 7 with 342. He was 31/47 passing for 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Joe was able to pick up a win over fellow future AARP recipient Aaron Rodgers, a 33-31 win at home that Cincinnati desperately needed. Great stuff all around!

18. Jared Goff – Detroit Lions (Prev. 20)

Detroit Lions starting quarterback Jared Goff in the Week 2 starting NFL qb power rankings

Jared Goff moved up 2 spots in the Quarterback Power Rankings after a big win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goff was 20/29 passing for 1 touchdown, 1 interception, and 241 yards. He also lost one fumble.

To be honest, this wasn’t Goff’s game to do much. Detroit’s defense kept Baker Mayfield and the Bucs’ running game in check while Jahmyr Gibbs put up the best running game performance against Tampa Bay in years. He had 136 yards on the ground and 2 TDs. Goff was able to sit back and relax.

17. Bo Nix – Denver Broncos (Prev. 27)

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix

Bo Nix was the mastermind behind Denver’s magical and historic 4th quarter comeback against the Giants. They scored 33 points in the 4th quarter to beat New York 33-32 and Bo Nix accounted for 4 TDs in the game.

Nix was 27/50 passing which is pretty horrible, if we’re being honest. But he had 279 passing yards and 2 TDs (0 INTs) as well as 48 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. It was a magical comeback and the first time in 1,602 straight NFL games when a team was winning by 18 points with 6 minutes left in the game went on to lose and Bo Nix deserves a LOT of the credit for that.

16. Carson Wentz – Minnesota Vikings (Prev. 14)

Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback Carson Wentz

With the 4th most passing yards this week, Carson Wentz dropped two spots in the Week 7 Quarterback Power Rankings after a 28-22 loss to the Eagles. He threw for 313 yards which was respectable but had 0 passing TDs and 2 interceptions.

Wentz was 26/42 passing and fumbled the ball once. He was trying to do everything and at times he looked brilliant but he didn’t look nearly as sharp as he did last week.

15. Trevor Lawrence – Jacksonville Jaguars (Prev. 21)

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence was 5th in passing yards this week despite getting blown out at home against the Rams. But Stafford and the Rams are dealing, what could they realistically do?

Lawrence threw for 296 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions. Travis Hunter had a break out receiving game for 101 yards and his first NFL receiving TD but ultimately, they lost 35-7 to Los Angeles. Jacksonville has a long way to go to be a contender but Trevor Lawrence at least looked slid this week.

14. Jordan Love – Green Bay Packers (Prev. 11)

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love and the Packers went into Arizona and picked up a 27-23 win on the road. Love was 19/29 passing for 179 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions. He dropped in this week’s power rankings primarily because of those ahead of him moving up because his only glaring mistakes were the 2 fumbles but he still picked up the win.

13. Jacoby Brissett – Arizona Cardinals (Prev. 16)

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett

Jacoby Brissett was at #16 last week in the Quarterback Power Rankings and had another solid week, albeit a loss. Arizona fell 27-23 to the Packers at home.

Brissett was 25/36 passing for 279 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. He also had 26 yards on the ground but did lose a fumble. You NEVER want to lose a one score game at home but he is the backup and stuff happens.

12. Aaron Rodgers – Pittsburgh Steelers (Prev. 19)

Aaron Rodgers with the Pittsburgh Steelers
Aaron Rodgers with the Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers lost in Week 7 but he was doing everything possible and deserves credit for that. Rodgers was 23/34 passing for 249 yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.

He took 0 sacks, and frankly this is a game they would’ve won if Joe Flacco didn’t drink his Geritol before the game because Rodgers had Pittsburgh’s offense looking solid.

11. Sam Darnold – Seattle Seahawks (Prev. 8)

Seattle Seahawks starting quarterback Sam Darnold

Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold fell 3 spots in our Week 7 Quarterback Power Rankings. He did pick up a 27-19 win at home though after being C.J. Stroud and the Texans.

Darnold was 17/31 passing for 213 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 lost fumble, and 1 interception. Seattle is 5-2 on the season so a slip up week from Sam Darnold is no reason to panic but they will certainly hope he comes out balling again next time out.

10. Mac Jones – San Francisco 49ers (Prev. 4)

quarterback Mac Jones
quarterback Mac Jones

Mac Jones dropped six spots in the Quarterback Power Rankings but he still managed to pick up the W against Atlanta. He was 17/26 passing for 152 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, and 11 rushing yards.

This game was all about C-Mac. Christian McCaffrey said ‘hold my beer’ and went off for 129 rushing yards, 2 TDs, and 72 receiving yards. So it wasn’t really ever put on Mac Jones to go out and win the game when C-Mac was on fire.

9. Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills (Prev. 12 — BYE)

Bills QB Josh Allen
Bills QB Josh Allen

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills were on bye this week. Uncharacteristic to most QBs in the Weekly Power Rankings, he actually improved his standings on the bye week moving from up 12 to 9. Because let’s be honest, Josh Allen isn’t the #12 quarterback in the NFL. There are not 11 QBs you would rather have than him on any week.

8. Drake Maye – New England Patriots (Prev. 7)

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye

Drake Maye slipped just a little bit in this week’s NFL QB Power Rankings but not really due to his play as much as due to the play of other QBs around the league. Maye was a crisp 21/23 passing against Tennessee for 222 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.

He also had 62. yards on the ground and had the Patriots looking like a team we haven’t seen since Tom Brady left. If things stand like they are now, Drake Maye needs to start having some serious respect put on his name by everyone in the league. He is really coming into his own in New England.

7. Jalen Hurts – Philadelphia Eagles (Prev. 9)

Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts had the third-most passing yards in the NFL this week with 326. He also had 3 passing TDs, 0 interceptions, and 0 fumbles.

The eagles picked up a 28-22 road win over Minnesota and Jalen Hurts looked like the reigning Super Bowl champion quarterback that he is. No mistakes, no panicking. Just easy play execution.

6. Justin Herbert – Los Angeles Chargers (Prev. 10)

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert

I want to say Justin Herbert *is back.* He has been as high as #2 in the Quarterback Power Rankings here at BroBible and was 10th last week but rose to 6 this week after leading the league in passing yards in Week 7.

Justin Herbert threw for 420 passing yards (37/55), had 3 passing touchdowns, but also had 2 interceptions. Those two turnovers proved costly as the Chargers lost 38-24 at home to the Colts. Herbert has to work on mitigating those turnovers to ascend to the top 3 again.

5. Daniel Jones – Indianapolis Colts (Prev. 6)

Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones is firmly in the MVP conversation at this point. That’s a fact. The Colts traveled to face the LA Chargers and left with a 38-24 win.

Daniel Jones was 23/34 passing for 288 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and he recovered a fumble. His 113.4 passer rating was 7th best in the league and the Colts are now 6-1 this season with Daniel Jones firing on all cylinders.

4. Baker Mayfield – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Prev. 1)

Baker Mayfield and his small hands
Baker Mayfield and his small hands

After moving into the #1 spot last week in the Quarterback Power Rankings, Baker Mayfield dropped 3 spots this week after showing that he is in fact human. Baker was 25/50 in passing for 228 yards, 1 passing TD, and 1 interception. He also had 1 fumble.

All credit to the Detroit Lions for cracking the code on Baker Mayfield and Tampa Bay. It will be very interesting to see how Baker bounces back this week against New Orleans with his #1 wide receiver Mike Evans out for most of the season.

3. Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs (Prev. 3)

Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 31-0 blowout against the Raiders and it was a vintage Patty performance. He threw for 286 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and connected on 26 of 35 pass attempts.

Mahomes also scrambled for 28 yards en route to compiling a 126.6 passer rating which was 4th best in the NFL in Week 7. Patrick has that offense clicking after an uncharacteristic start to the season and he could easily ascend to #1 in the NFL Quarterback Power Rankings with a few more performances like this week, he just needs the QBs ahead of him to slip up.

2. Dak Prescott – Dallas Cowboys (Prev. 2)

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott passing the ball
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott passing the ball

Dak Prescott could ascent to the #1 spot in the Quarterback Power Rankings any week now, he just needs someone to slip. After three odd weeks to start the season, Dak Prescott has been absolutely on fire.

He has 13 passing touchdowns and 0 interceptions in his past 4 games. This week, Dak was 21/30 passing for 264 yards, 3 touchdowns (0 INTs), and only took 1 sack. Dak is aware that he basically needs to score on every possession this season because the Cowboys’ Defense is garbage and he has risen to the challenge.

1. Matthew Stafford – Los Angeles Rams (Prev. 5)

Matthew Stafford LA Rams
Matthew Stafford LA Rams

After falling from #1 to #5 last week in the Quarterback Power Rankings Matthew Stafford is back on top this week following another insane performance. He was 21/33 passing for 182 yards and FIVE … count them … FIVE passing touchdowns and 0 interceptions.

Stafford hasn’t thrown an interception his past 4 games and over that span he has 12 passing TDs. At this point, there is every reason to believe the LA Rams are NFC contenders if Stafford keeps playing like this.
