Connor Fields went viral on Saturday thanks to an incredible on-field performance and one mind-boggling goal. The Utah Archer fittingly hit his target time and again as he lifted his team to a 16-11 victory over Maryland.
Fields racked up three goals in the win, one of which threw social media into a state of utter shock.
Midway through the third quarter of play, Fields worked one-on-one against two-time defender of the year Matt Dunn. His foe initially got the best of him by blocking a path to the net, causing Fields to improvise in extraordinary fashion.

Going one-handed behind his back, Fields was able to leap up and fire a shot off between his legs while fading away from the goal. The attempt landed swiftly into the back of the net to add to the Archers’ lead.
The incredible make had viewers in disbelief.
“That’s one of the sickest things I’ve ever seen.”
“How?? This is outta control!”
Even his teammates were stunned.
“As soon as [he] rolled back and the stick was in one hand, I knew something crazy was coming.”

Goalie Brett Dobson was also surprised to see the shot go in the way it did.

It wasn’t Connor Fields’ only impressive shot of the evening.
Earlier in the matchup, he went no-look behind the back while being mauled by a Maryland defender. The accuracy is ridiculous!

Connor Fields is off to an incredible start this season, ranking Top 5 in 1-pt goals and scoring points through five contests. Utah currently leads the PLL West with a 3-2 overall record.
