Carson Beck has struggled over his last handful of games, the last of which ended in blowout fashion against Ole Miss. The Bulldogs lost 28-10, failing to move the ball consistently on offense throughout the day.
Georgia finished with one touchdown drive, which came on their opening possession. Beck threw for 186 yards while tossing an interception for the fifth time in his last six starts.
Beck entered the year with Heisman hopes. He’s largely failed to live up to expectations in his junior year.
The signal caller racked up seven touchdowns and no picks over his first three games. Each resulted in a Bulldogs victory.
Since, he’s thrown 10 scores and 12 interceptions with Georgia going 4-2 across that six-game stretch.
Carson Beck’s most recent outing was his most frustrating of the season. He was sacked five times and held out of the endzone by the Ole Miss defense.
After grabbing that quick 7-0 lead, the Dawgs were outscored 28-3.
Despite falling behind by double digits in the fourth quarter of action, Beck was seen smiling on the sidelines with teammate Jaden Rashada.
Georgia fans weren’t happy with the optics. A narrative immediately formed claiming Beck didn’t care about the team. His mother responded with a post on Facebook to quiet the noise.
For all those freaking out about Carson Beck smiling on the sideline the other night, here is a message from his mom about the situation.
Jaden Rashada, Georgia’s backup QB, was being a good teammate and hyping up his spirits. R

She says that Rashada was just being a good teammate, picking his fellow QB up after a forgettable game.
Georgia football fans didn’t see it that way!
Carson Beck’s offseason was filled with headlines relating to incredible NIL deals, a new love interest with influencer/hooper Hanna Cavinder, and reckless driving-related drama.
Is his focus gone?
His mom argued that it wasn’t the case, as did Jaden Rashada’s father.
Im sure there have been countless times Carson has picked up Jaden. So this brings joy to my heart to see the bond of two elite competitors holding strong in a moment of defeat. That’s real brotherhood.

The Bulldogs have no time to dwell on the loss to the Rebels. They’ll host Tennessee next week with playoff implications on the line.
Georgia will need its starting quarterback to perform better than he did vs. Ole Miss. His teammates seem to be doing what they can to keep his spirits high.
