There’s some tragic news coming out of the college football world. On Sunday morning, rumors began swirling that LSU star wide receiver Kyren Lacy had passed away at the age of 24.
WAFB reporter Jacques Doucet confirmed Lacy’s death,

According to Doucet, Lacy’s death is suspected to be a suicide amid legal troubles after he was allegedly involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash earlier this year.

Lacy was arrested earlier this year on charges related to a deadly hit-and-run crash in Lafourche Parish.
A grand jury was set to start hearing evidence in the case tomorrow morning.
While initially considered a top 50 pick in the NFL draft, teams were considered about his legal troubles and there were doubts that he would have gotten picked up by a team.
