Every once in a while a brand releases a product that drives more hype from viral online reviews than the actual product announcement does itself. Such is the case with the new lululemon ‘Big A– Bag 80L,’ a truly massive 80-liter tote bag.
The early Lululemon 80L Bag reviews have been spectacular to the point that I first learned about the bag through reviews being shared online without ever having seen the product. After piquing my interest, I had to see this bag for myself and then spent time on lulu’s website scrolling through reviews and other products. It’s a genius strategy if if this was their plan all along.

Did they do this intentionally to drive web traffic? It is quite possible. Even if they didn’t, the lululemon 80L Bag reviews are driving a ton of attention to their ‘Big A– Bag’ and someone from lululemon has been actively replying to reviews so they are most certainly aware of the hype.
While most of the reviews below are completely outlandish, one actually stuck out to me as valid. The person saying New York City allows dogs on the subway as long as they are in a bag points out a very real use case for this bag. You could fit most medium-sized and even some large/XL dogs in this bag if they are willing to go along for the ride. Or just bring the bag in case an NYPD officers says to put the dog in the bag and then you do. But I digress… Let’s check out the funniest Lululemon 80L Bag Reviews so far:
It is nice to see people in the medical field finding novel uses for the new 80L bag. Other Big A– Bag manufacturers should take notice. If they started targeting their products to people who use the bags to transport human beings maybe they’d sell more bags!
It is interesting that lululemon decided to only release this bag in one color so far. Sure, the ‘ColourRumble Crumble/Lime & Yours/Silver’ is a great colorway but the people demand options. Also, what on earth does this bag have to do with Star Wars?! Just a weird review all around there.
I love when people think outside the box. Two weekends ago I completed a 1,500+ mile road trip from Maine to Florida by myself. Just me and the dog in the car. And if I could’ve filled up an 80L bag full of gas it would’ve saved me multiple stops.

Sadly the lululemon 80L bag won’t be big enough to carry all of the emotional baggage for some of you out there. I have seen the comments you leave. You’ll need at least three of these bags.
This bag could have held my Bernese Mountain Dog who would have loved this. When I lived in the Upper East Side and my dog was a puppy I used to use a duffel bag to carry her to/from vet appointments before she finished her shots. Big dogs love being carried around when it’s comfortable. This bag is perfect for that, if you can deal with holding an 80+ pound animal on your shoulders.
